Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Specialty Center in Wellington would like to share an opportunity for families in North Broward and Palm Beach Counties to participate in a no-cost Sports EKG heart screening this weekend.
A pediatric electrocardiogram (EKG) can detect potential heart problems in active children and young athletes. Screenings are painless and noninvasive, using a series of electrodes on the chest to measure electrical activity of the heart.
These screenings are available at no cost to all children ages 10–25.
